Need core 4 team advice - my real estate agent (realtor A) wants to send another agent on the team (realtor B) that we are very friendly with and acts as his assist. How would you recommend someone shut this down without offending realtor B

This is to a showing this weekend

There are 2 things- if your agreement with A stated that he can have a sub agency or another realtor representing him, he has the legal right.
However if you don’t want B, just call A and say that we would appreciate if you came as you have more clarity and all our conversations have been with you. Try to be flexible in timings and hopefully it works.

What’s the problem with sending the assistant? I’m sure your agent briefed that person beforehand. I had an assistant do several showings of my last place with no problems.

Don’t get the issue. Realtor A is getting help from Realtor B to show you a place?
Why does it matter who shows it to you?

What percentage fee increase are you seeing on audit engagement fees from 2020 to 2021? I know the norm used to be 3% for COL (assuming no major changes at the client) but wondering if it’s higher for 2021 audits due to current inflation?

Wanted to get some advice here. I'm a 3rd year (going into 4th starting Jan 1) at a reputable EV/VC shop in California and am thinking of going in-house. I'm receiving some mixed comments from friends with some saying it's better to take the plunge early and others saying I should stick it out for a couple of more years to build more skills.

Anyone with personal experience with either have any thoughts? Should I wait or try to make the move now?

Went under contract with a buyer for my condo last Saturday (6 days ago). Inspection has already been done, no issues and buyers aren’t asking for any repairs or price adjustment. Last night my realtor emails saying they’re switching lenders to US Bank. The rate stated is the same as their original lender, so unsure why they’re switching as terms are the same. Their realtor claims it won’t impact our closing timeline, but could there be something shady going on?

I’m a first time home buyer in the process of making an offer on a condo in the DC area. My realtor is stating that earnest money is a requirement to submit the offer. Is that true? The condos been on the market for almost 3 months and no indication of any other offers being submitted recently. I’m not seeing the value in putting that money in escrow upfront if there’s no additional offers on the table.
