It’s really annoying when you ping staff on other jobs and they ignore you.

How do you get past imposter syndrome? Someone more senior than me is encouraging me to apply to a role that I feel totally unqualified for. I hate my current job, but I’m good at it and am scared to fail the interview for this new position. I feel like if it doesn’t work out I’m letting the people who support me down :(

Would you ever leave consulting to join a small business? And I don’t mean a tech startup. More of a small but profitable family owned business with growth potential. Significantly higher pay, leadership position, some equity, WLB. If it doesn’t work out how hard would it be to move back to Consulting or another big company after 2-3 years? How would hiring managers view the move?

Dilemma: Daycare requested everyone to pay 100% next month to maintain it’s business model even though it’s closed. But we have a baby on the way & husband’s job could be furloughed during this crisis

NBA players are claiming their hotels are “fine” the food that is provided is “fine” and they’re excited to get to work and then get back home. At least someone is living our normal life for us.

As an A2, I’m nervous about my utilization rate( the firm aiming at 85%) I’m at 67% now cause I got last minute released from one job. Any suggestions on how to increase my utilization rate?😱

Question for workers comp attorneys— Client was verbally abused and sexually discriminated at work for a period of time. He was also physically abused by one employee in particular who got the client in to a choke hold and made him go unconscious. Client stopped going to work, reported to HR, got a doctor appt from workers comp. I am wondering if we let the client pursue a workers comp claim with a workers comp attorney, will those claims affect our civil lawsuit claims at all?

The irony. I just got promoted and I’m looking for work to hightail it out of here. I’m still not changing my mind. At least I have a higher title now. 😁
