Urgent help needed. My brother has been looking for a job in IT for almost a year and has had no luck. He’s had a rough past and I think it’s hindering him from being selected to interview. What are some red flags you've noticed in the hiring process? I've finally landed an interview after weeks of applying. I think it went well on my end, but something about the managers I spoke with just feels...off.

So I was a municipal attorney for approximately 3 years and I did a lot of contracts, I see a lot of contracts counsel/contracts manager attorney positions. Am I out of my mind for applying to these? The same jobs open for 2 1/2 yrs reposting salaries after interviewing 100 then cutting the salary by up to $50k They say can’t find people but they fire you in 90 days when your working 80 hours a week or people are walking!

What’s the ideal time to offer after the first tech screening? I had one person tell me 2-3 weeks and another say 4-6 weeks.

Ok, so I have a couple of offers, one kind of lackluster, for the County. The other is for a credit union-I left credit unions a few years ago to join a FinTech supporting credit unions)
I was laid off last month and have had a flurry of interviews…this credit union offer is my favorite so far, I do have another offer I’m waiting for from another tech company which has a much higher salary range, but nothing is written in stone.
Should I counter? The offer is $95k for a project manager.

Why Interviewer want to insult candidate rather respect them ? Why 99% interviewer ask candidate about Pluto. I mean ask something which has no relation with application, project. Why this mind set ?? Why thr is a ego fight. If I know everything why I will join your company. We are not Architect !! Only those 6 companies have Interview pattern.
