Need Help Urgently!
I am on the first time H1B was laid off on 8th Sept and I signed an offer letter for a new company on 8th Sept itself. Now the new company needs to file for my H1B transfer.
Do I need to provide an experience letter and employment verification letter from my previous company for H1B transfer?
No. You have 60 days from your last employment date to get onboarded with the new company. This is a “grace period.” Pay statements are sufficient.
The letter has to match the rest of the PERM application, so no point to write up one yourself.
You just need to make sure your ex-employer will be cooperative and sign the draft your new employer provides you.
Pro
no. you'll just need to provide 3 pay statements.
You will have 60 days to find a new job when you lose a job on H1. You are good and congratulations on the new job!
Good luck. Im glad youve found a new employee.
Congrats too! I was in the same boat :)
Just ensure to get detailed exp letter with dates, roles, technology worked, etc., This is needed while filing for perm. If you can't get, you need to submit affidavit and someone should sign it. Congrats and Good luck
