I've been at my current company for 15 years and 17 in the insurance industry. I'm struggling to even get a callback to interview. In a year, I've had one callback. I've sought out input on my resume from folks at the Executive level and there aren't any red flags. Am I just too entrenched and the long tenure scares employers or what?

I've 3 yoe in techno-functional domain.
I wish to go into technical (development) profile now, but not as a fresher. I want to continue with 3 yoe.
But the issue is, I have no (dev) project to show in interview as an 3 yoe person.

I've learned Java, springboot, restfulAPIs, kafka, but still hesitant to go for interviews as I do not have projects to discuss.

I shall be very thankful to you if you help me here.
How/where can i go to make projects now to justify 3yoe?

Got an interview with a pure consumer shop (TSG, Sycamore, Great Hill). Haven’t done much work in consumer and not sure of what to say as my “why consumer/retail” answer besides that I want to be an investor and like the fact the products we’d invest in are ones I know and use

I have 6 and half YOE in front end development. (angular and hybrid applications). I joined my current organization ( product based) in Feb for 24LPA. The work here is too stressful and there is absolutely zero WLB. So I decided to start looking out again. However I am not getting good interview calls. Are most companies not hiring now ? Or could it because my CTC is too high ?

What do strategist do at in-house (day to day granular work wise)? Is it usually referring to marketing team? There’s no “strategist” role at the company but I was asked to map out consumer journey from asset stand point. I’m a creative but want to switch to more strategy planning role because that’s what my manager expects me to do certain time. How can I meld these two roles successfully?

When choosing a firm, what is the top benefit you look for?

I’m a contracts specialist and have been in my role for 2 years. Prior to that, I had 3 years of experience with bidding as well. Any others in the same role care to share salaries?
