Anyone else finding themselves on their phone/fucking off for substantial portions of the work day? Any advice?

I’ve been out of college and working from home for 1yr and it’s been getting progressively worse.

I interviewed with General Mills recently.

HR asked my expectations I said 8.5LPA(2.4times hike- reasons were relocation to mumbai, and the current avg for DA with 3yoe).

In the salary negotiation round, the guy said their company doesn't negotiate. He asked for my expectations and if that is negotiable from my end. They didn't call back and when I called HR said we cannot pay you this much hike. (I didn't share another offer of 6.5LPA.)

What should I have done differently, thoughts?
