Fairmont is nearby

The Residence Inn on LaSalle/Madison. Looks like it’s only going for $118 a night and I’ve stayed there, it’s pretty decent. Like 15 minute walk to Millenium Pk

M1 - that's the plan, but want a spacious room for naptime so they can watch TV/hang out separately while the little one sleeps.

Renaissance has some nice suites. Lobby area is fun for toddlers to run around as well. But Millennium at this time of the year? Not much fun.

Ah, my toddler naps in the stroller like a champ!

M1 - I also think my parents will need a nap too 😅

Just have them take the toddler to a museum or something?

EY2 - will be in March, as a former Chicagoan I know it'll be hit or miss with weather. Meeting is near there and figured Maggie Daley park would be an option

Started a project ~3 weeks ago. So far it’s only been myself & my PM. A new person joined this week. Should I reach out and introduce myself to him? Was thinking an email/quick slack message welcoming him to the team? I know I would’ve liked that when I joined.

Looks like a massive Exodus happened in Deloitte? Trying to staff a project and there is literally no one to staff with (at least Salesforce practice) and we are having to reach out to contractors. For folks who have been here for a long time, is this a common occurrence or is it especially bad this time around?
