Need people POV on following scenario - I am interested in 2 roles at Doordash for interviewing as both role seems good BUT i feel that I can make decision on the best role out of 2 only after interview so how does company look this behavior i.e. interviewing simultaneously for 2 different role , 1 is IC role and other is Manager role ? will this have impact on either of 2 role interview at DoorDash ?

I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?

I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.

Hi, I received an offer from a tech company last week. I went ahead and accepted because I didn’t have any competing offers. However, another company now offered me significantly more. I didn’t have this offer when I accepted the previous one. I still like the tech company. Is it ok to ask them to match the new offer after accepting?
