Does anyone know how much bonus / RSUs Sr Program Managers (Level 6) get at Amazon? I’m looking at a post MBA role.
Hi! Anyone on here from Kearney? Found a position that I’m interested in and looking to pursue. Would love to learn more about the firm/culture etc and get some feedback. Thank you!
What salary can I expect for 11YOE IN JPMC at AVP level...Role offered is data viz reporting...let me know if any details needed to answer better...
I was HC approved, but told that the hiring manager is still deciding on which candidate to offer the job to. How often are folks successfully matched with teams they didn’t initially interview for?
What is job security like as a post-MBA level VC associate? I understand partnership is extremely difficult to obtain. Assume you’re joining a small-ish (250m AUM) shop that seems to be doing well (has been around for 20 years) but isn’t a huge brand name, are there decent 200k+ paying exit options available?
Can anyone help me evaluate whether I should take an exit opportunity. Currently in big 4 (fsrm) and have the opportunity to join a f250 payments firms internal strategy division. They report directly to the c-suite and said they mainly focus on strategy or M&A and don’t do implementation. The team seems really nice but I’m just worried about leaving consulting and leaving the accelerated progression. Would love some insights as I’m fairly lost on what to decide. Thanks!
Hey everyone, new to the big 4 (only about 3 months) and I think I’ve finally got my bearings at the company. Anyone have any tips on how to network internally for being rolled onto a team? Like when I reach out to someone for a coffee chat, what do I say/ do? Ask about how they got into that role? Ask for internal work? Any advice is appreciated!
Tips from anyone whose moved into a strategy role from a different sector of consulting? How you gradually shifted to strategy projects and how you learned on your own.
I started a job last month that was a complete bait and switch (lied about my roll on the account, the staffing on the account, etc) and I’m miserable. I’m planning my exit strategy. How do I approach recruiters without seeming like a serial jumper?
I have a second round interview at Amazon for a Program Manager non-tech role. What should I expect? LPs exclusively?
Currently a senior with PwC and have an offer as senior with Deloitte. Has anyone been in that position and how much was your salary bump increase? Wanting to negotiate
Hi, I got a call from KPMG HR today asking for relevant experience and salary expectations. I quoted between 22-26LPA for Manager or Senior Consultant role based on how the interview goes. I have around 7 years of experience. Should and can I quote more ? Or what I've mentioned is alright? I am on 14.3LPA Also I need some resources to prepare for the further rounds. Any help is really welcome. The role was for IT Audit (ITGC, App Control, ISO27001 etc). Please DM if you can help. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Is this just happening with me? Everytime the panel says explicitly to me that I am a great match for the role and that they are passing positive feedback for my next round, recruiter goes Mia for reasons unknown 😢😢 How will I ever get out?!
Can someone tell me about the work life balance of a HR Talent Senior Associate at PWC ? Is it true growth in this role?
Posted in Big 4 bowl but reposting here: Looking to move into a general Consulting Staff/Business Transformation/Strategy position mid-late 2022. Was eyeing a Summer/Fall 2022 Business Transformation Staff position at EY in particular, but it has dropped off. Any idea of when positions like that will typically open up across most firms? Want to get in early, open to any firm. I do not have an MBA, but I am client facing and work in commercial markets currently. TYIA!
Was unsuccessful recruiting for top consulting firms during my MBA. I need that money! What is the best approach to landing an interview post MBA? Referral?
Is it tough/ a lot different to go from a general corporate tax role in which you work on different industries to a financial service industry (corporate tax manager)
I am being required to relocate for a position that is still currently remote. Same state. Is this unreasonable?
Did well in first and second interview. Third interview was behavioral questions which I had a gut feeling I didn’t do well on. Niche consultant position. Was executive in last role. Have sent enthusiastic thank you emails to all three. Would sending a more in-depth addendum email to 2nd and 3rd interviewers to better answer missed questions be over eager?
What time of the day is best to call an investment banker to follow up with him on the results of your interview?
Looking to break in consulting. Mis major, 3.63 GPA. I don’t go to a target school unfortunately but I have 2 internship experiences and extracurricular. Can someone help me out with a referral?
What counts as prior inventions that should be written in a previous inventions disclosure? I’ve “created” processes that are essentially well known but customized to my client. Does that count?
Why does Deloitte offer 3 HDHP's if their coverage is identical? I compared the UHC, Aetna, and Anthem HDHP plans and didn't see any differences. Am I missing something?
Does anyone know acceptance rates at big 4 type firms versus boutiques? Most assume big 4 are harder to get into and more prestigious than boutiques or lower level firms. I’m at a mid tier firm so I’m fairly neutral in this. I’ve worked with highly intelligent, and highly incompetent, consultants from either type of firm. Would love to hear your thoughts on this and any data you have. Sometimes I wonder why big 4 is so highly revered when work products I review are less than stellar.
When you join a new firm, how soon should you be staffed to a project ? Is some initial delay considered to be ok ?
Getting ready to come back to work after a week of vacation. Definitely feeling imposter syndrome and that I’m not smart enough to come back to Int’l tax. Anyone else ever feel this way about their jobs?
KPMG interview process on to 3 months. What gives? Do they actually need cyber people or not? Do I even want to work here now?
Metro just released a survey. If you all have 5 minutes to take the survey it would help to gauge recovery efforts. It talks about a new station(Potomac Yard) , the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus, asking if you have an Android or iPhone for touch-less payments, as well as any feedback for how comfortable you feel or any suggestions to offer regarding the health and safety of riders.
Last night I applied to a job at KPMG, but without a referral. Did I mess my chances of getting a call back up?
Help! There is an assistant that works in my building that is downright rude and demeaning to both staff and students alike. She yells at us for bringing our kids to lunch right on time (when our 30 min lunch begins as well). She always complains about literally everything! We can make complaints for a team of staff and admin to try to correct, but cannot name specific people. I know for a fact a parent has already made 2 complaints this year, but I feel like more has to be brought up.
Anyone else have random requirements for the schools you’re applying to? One of mine is that the school must have an FBS football team
In a Big4 deal Analytics group that’s not premier with no path to partner... should I try to move to MBB/T2 to gain traditional consulting experience or try for tech/FAANG... I just wanna make money
I recently got an offer as an intern at EY and I currently have a felony for possession of Marijuana. should I disclose this to my recruiter after I receive the background check link? What steps should I make moving forward?
