Hello fishes. Need your suggestions. I have worked at Accenture for 2 yrs as a software developer and due to interest in core side, took training in Rv-Vlsi and placed in capgemini as PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER . And it's been 9 months, I didn't get any project. I am much frustrated as I am wasting my imp time. I'm regretting now of leaving Accenture :( Can you give me suggestions on what to learn in this free time? Intel Corporation Qualcomm MediaTek Synopsys Inc. Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

If your goal is to become a data scientist instead of an analyst, then there's no rush. But there's also no harm in taking these interviews as experience and to learn about companies. If you enjoy a company enough, you may be able to do an internal pivot into a DS role. Since you're still in school, you can take it as internship experience or choose not to list the employment on your resume (a gap won't be as suspicious for people in school)
Agree! Talk to these recruiters / hiring managers and state your intentions. If you find a company that you like, they may be willing to take you on as a data analyst now and either promote you or let you “graduate” to a data scientist role later. You may also find a company who will hire you with the data scientist role now knowing your degree is only a few months away. Both cases are probably a win/win for both parties! They get you into the doors and working for them sooner, you get a raise and the career path you’re looking for.
All the titles in this field can be very vague and confusing, I would purely focus on the tasks being ask of you in a role. The title isn't really important because many companies try to overlap responsibilities of data science data engineer and data analysis. Ideally you end up with the title and role that matches the work you want to do.
If you're completing your masters in a few months, I'd wait. Or at least apply to the jobs you think you're qualified for with your degree and mention you're completing it this summer
I would look into the new jobs and make sure they are aware of your career goals. Make sure there is a path to where you want to go at whatever new company you choose.
I have been in similar situation. I waiteduntil I was done with the data science masters. Interviewing and starting a new job is stressful on top of full time work and masters. Just do the minimum at your current job then leave for data science job after your masters is done.
