So, I misheard the guy. Got the written offer today, it’s actually 3k HIGHER than I thought. Offer is $165,500!

My advice is to take it! The offer was in your range, and even your contact's information suggests you have a very good offer. If the offer was at the bottom of your range, I'd ask for more. But it's at the midpoint and has a bonus that will put your first year above your range.

This is exactly my thought as well! I feel like they came in above midpoint and made a very fair offer. I also don’t have any justification to ask for more and don’t want to put myself out there as greedy before I even start. Thank you for your input!

How do you handle being overlooked for a promotion? My manager just promoted someone who’s only worked here for two months. It’s hard to not take it personally, especially when I’ve exceeded all the goals that I was tasked with. I could use some advice on how to handle this.
