So, I misheard the guy. Got the written offer today, it’s actually 3k HIGHER than I thought. Offer is $165,500!
My advice is to take it! The offer was in your range, and even your contact's information suggests you have a very good offer. If the offer was at the bottom of your range, I'd ask for more. But it's at the midpoint and has a bonus that will put your first year above your range.
This is exactly my thought as well! I feel like they came in above midpoint and made a very fair offer. I also don’t have any justification to ask for more and don’t want to put myself out there as greedy before I even start. Thank you for your input!
Hi there, congratulations on your offer! how long did it take to get the offer letter from the verbal offer? I have been waiting for an offer letter, but it has been almost two weeks since hearing about the package. The hiring manager is communicating regularly. I do not want to push them to share the letter however having it will make things better as I will need to relocate.
