Also 9-5 does not equal chill job. That’s still 40 hours a week. A chill job is at max 30 hours a week, usually 20

Consultancy will provide you better exposure and help you build out your career path. See if there is negotiation on wfm or travel as 130k doesn't last long in NYC. If long term benefits from working in the industry is there then stick to your initial choice.
