That is truly disheartening. I’m sorry you’re going through this. But like EY1 said, the best is yet to come!

Name and shame! 10 rounds of interviews to figure out you weren’t a fit? Shows a lack of a structured/thorough interview team.

Seriously. You avoided a bad position! 10 rounds? That is nuts. It shouldn’t take that long. That is a waste of everyone’s time. Red flag. But I know it stings! You will find something better. Your experience is clearly valuable and enticing. You are clearly an easy person to talk to (they asked you for so many rounds to chat with you that you are probably common-law married by now!). You’ll find a company that sees your value immediately.

Honestly- i let myself believe whatever will soothe my ego and help me move on. Maybe you were too qualified and it was intimidating? This has happened to people I know. Recruiters don’t always get or share the full picture so trust that it’s not you, it’s them.
Ten rounds of interviews?! Can you imagine what it would have been like to work there? They sound like people who can’t make decisions to their own detriment. That would have been a difficult work environment. I do really believe that every job I have gotten has ended up being a reflection of the interview process - if it was bureaucratic, so was the company, if it was disorganized, so was the company, etc. I’m sorry they took up so much of your time, but at least you got some good interview practice in and will be well prepared when you are interviewing for a better organized company that will be a better place to work! 💪💪💪
Wtf who had the time!?
Don't worry... The best is yet to come.. :)

A similar thing happened to me but in hindsight it would have been a bad fit and changed my career trajectory in a negative way. You never know what is meant to happen! The sting of rejection hurts and I feel for you BUT remember you may be dodging a bullet.

Sorry to hear that. Hold a pity party and go as wild as you want. Then move on. At the end of the day you don’t want someone who didn’t want you. Better things are around the corner.
That blows! Most of us have been there before. Having recently accepted a new job offer, you will find a great role! It took me so many applications, so many interviews and it was not linear. Also know that it is not a reflection of how great you are! It's truly a mystery what companies are looking for from the candidate side.
You guys are so great! These messages are already making me feel better - thank you so much for this, ladies !!! #uplifting one another
