So here are some thoughts. I'd imagine s/he is a fairly smart and accomplished person to get so far as to interview with you. So I'd talk to them like a person. No need to drill down on how many rolls of bounty towels it would take to pave i95 between D.C. And Boston. I mean we all know the answer to silly questions like that. Or at least most of us are creative enough to come up with ones on our own. If you want to be a prick to this person at least be creative. Or god forbid don't be a dick. But that's doubtful.

You have a deck of cards with 50 cards.
Four of the cards are Aces. Four of the cards are Kings. The rest of the cards are blank. After the cards are shuffled they are all laid out next to one another. In order to win the game an Ace needs to be next to a King. What is the probability of winning?

Why would you want to stump a candidate? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of an interview?

I’m currently at a medium sized tech startup. I was interviewing for a role that would be a bump in pay and title at a multinational public F50 company. At first, the hiring manager and head of legal were very complementary about my experience. Almost too much so. After a week of interviews with the team (softball-esq), I was informed that if I wanted to join, they would bring me on at a lower title. I’m not sure about comp yet. But if comp is still an increase + experience at a public..

My first therapy appointment tomorrow! I’ve never dealt with depression before having my second kid and my PPD was/is rough! Filling out the intake form I basically had to list out all the things I’ve dealt with - rape, mom issues, death in family during pandemic, kid hit by car, ppd, and a slew of over things… looking forward to working through these things over time, whatever that might look like.
