Need to brag- for the first time in my life, my performance review says "very organized".

First year medicated, I knew it was making a difference for me but seeing the evidence on paper is still crazy.

Right there with you for the first time. It’s such a good feeling to get validation for that

Aw, that’s great! Congrats. You should feel proud of yourself for that.

Wait until you start using OneNote and coworkers get jealous. 😂. Congratulations on this! It might seem like just another comment from your manager, but it can mean the difference between continuing treatment or not. Awesome job and proud of you for this!

That’s amazing! How though? 😂 I’m still not with meds, at least I think not 😂

AC - im the same. Really helps that I’m a fast typer (hyperfocused on typing games as a kid) and my brain lets me regurgitate things easier and organized on papers. Using bullet points.
Helps so much!!

Awesome!!!! Good for you!!

Please clarify what medication exactly?

Personally I am on ritalin extended release

So I have completely lost interest in my area of practice mainly because I haven’t been exposed to many matters (our team is really slow) and I am the most junior in the team. So billable work is never constant. I feel like this has impacted my interest and stagnated my growth. I am thinking of moving into a different area of practice that I’m interested in. Has anyone ever done this? I’m actually depressed and I really hate being given work now. I have ADHD. Please advise

How is everyone managing work right now - any coping tips? I live alone hundreds of miles from my family & have been largely in insolation for months. Any break in isolation (ex. I’m really struggling to focus and to care. Everything feels overwhelming. Anyone else experienced this and have any management tips?

How much would a 30 day supply of Vyvanse (30mg) cost me after insurance? I know this is going to vary by plan but I'm still curious as to know how expensive of a medication this is.

My pharmacy informed me that the insurance will not cover without authorization from the psych. My psych was wary about this & instead suggested Ritalin during my session. He mentioned that insurance companies want us to first try Ritalin because they are generally cheaper. How much truth is there to this? Thanks!

*Methylphenadite makes you more dyslexic.* I've been analysing this hypothesis for over a year now. As a late diagnosis, I'm quite certain when I started taking meds, despite never having this issue before, I would misspell words and say the completely wrong words without realising. I saw the same thing with a colleague on stimulants doing exactly the same i.e. say dollars when they meant euros. Other late diagnosed people, what is your experience?
