A smartphone in which you can set calendar reminders so that you get an alert about your anniversary with more than one day to spare should run you like a thousand bucks. Also, the Peloton bike price just dropped to $1495 and the tv ad suggests that it’s the perfect gift for a spouse.

#stealth - in the name of technology disruption

A card, inside of which you have pasted a photo of you two from your wedding, and a handwritten note saying you still wake up every morning knowing you are the luckiest person in the world

Good job!!!

My husband bought me a locket and put the pictures of our children in it and I treasure it

Dyson vacuum or any device the requires an outlet.

D*ck in a box

2 night Staycation at a nice hotel in your city and dinner.

Hermès stackable bracelets

Something you carefully crafted by hand that perfectly expresses your deep love for her. Or an iPad with a pink case you can pick up at the last minute from the Apple store, like I did.

A 2-3 day trip is a great idea. We stopped giving gifts after our 3rd year of marriage and instead do a 2-3 day getaway as we both enjoy traveling and enjoying good food. We have more than anything we need from a material standpoint.

The gift of time - plan an experience/time away

You take care of the kids and give her 1500 to have a wild girls night out

My husband and I follow the modern or traditional guidelines each year. For twelve, that’s Pearl or linen and silk. BCG had a wonderfully thoughtful suggestion - do that and a nice set of pearl earrings, necklace, or bracelet. I know I would love either studs (cream or black pearls) or a necklace with a simple cream Pearl pendant. Good luck!

Awesome! Thank you!

Tiffany is very passé now …

Y’all make me love my wife even more since she doesn’t want any of pearls, diamonds, whatever. It is at times more difficult, but she much more values time spent together and experiences we have together. That said, her travel standards have increased a bit since we met, so maybe it’s a dual-edged sword.

Her love language might be quality time - and quality time can certainly happen on trips! My husband is the same way, so I tend to book us trips or experiences as gifts. My love language is words of affirmation so my favorite thing to receive is a handwritten note telling me how feels.

Anything from Tiffany!

First day on betterment... Do balances update during the day or after market close?

How many people can say that they have lost almost all motivation in their current role? interesting because you come in so ambitious and next thing you know you hate everything. How do you fix it.

When you check your Delta app Sunday night and the red Sky Priority band magically appears in the top left corner of your trip >>>

My new proj has me doing extremely mundane work, sending out emails and sitting in on meetings asking the client if they’ve done such and such or submitted such and such. The work is so terribly disengaging that I don’t feel fulfilled at the end of day due to the absence of exhaustion making me feel guilty that I’m wasting my time. So I run around the house cleaning stuff trying to at least exhaust myself physically because I’m not feeling it mentally...

Consultants who look young: how do you deal with clients, or even co workers consistently asking your age, or making comments about how young you look? Any advice to help me not pull my hair out?

Preet Bharara once said to run for public office one has to have a life that could stand through public scrutiny. How come some leaders have tons of dirty laundry that does not affect them while others have barely any dirt yet are toppled by it?

I'm hearing that BBM isn't hiring 2Y MBAs. True or False?

I've heard 30 and 50 but now it's a 70,000 foot view. And that was from a client. Out consulted by a client.

Damn. PwC is participating in the corporate platinum challenge with Delta... But there are no good Delta routes from DC. Just 6 round trip flights for Platinum...

From your experiences what happens if you get kicked off a project cause client doesn’t want you there. Do you usually get fired or put on another project?

I have a coworker on a project who is not contributing their fair share... I'm afraid I'm already viewed as too aggressive in the group so I haven’t been vocal about it. I think I may stay silent.
