It's like $150/year to insure everything in a normal 1-bedroom. Get it just in case.

I get it through State Farm. Never needed it but know many people who wish they had it when it would have been needed

I highly recommend renters insurance! I had a fire in my apt building and that $150 saved me $15k in expenses. I also recommend getting insured for double that you think you actually need to cover the cost of your stuff. My actual furniture and replacement costs were probably $5k, but the cost of hotel, interim food, dry cleaning for all my clothing, and moving expenses came in much higher. It’s not that much more expensive either.

I can't be any more serious... LEMONADE IS THE BEST RENTERS INSURANCE!!

They are very well priced. They give excess money to charity. Very well built app. Extremely friendly customer service. I've filed one claim and it was a very easy process and I was informed of every step

Quite miffed as I just got a small pay rise and now I think this plus the upcoming not rises in utilities and inflation will pretty much cancel it out.

Deloitte GPS Business Analyst vs Mercer Health Consulting Analyst?

Deloitte's offer is 7K more and in a cheaper area. Equal interest in both jobs, slight preference for Mercer for people + culture. Leaning towards Mercer because I graduate in Dec and can start in Jan vs having to wait until next summer for Deloitte + location (although higher COL)

Hey Everyone!
I’m coming up on one year of working in consulting post under grad in a financial services vertical. I know I want to transition to corporate strategy down the road, but don’t have much interest in financial service strategy. Should I try and switch into a more applicable practice such as M&A or operations? Will I be able to break into corporate strategy without any past experience in that industry? I want to avoid getting pigeonholed into FS, but with COVID, don’t want to leave.

So I have completely lost interest in my area of practice mainly because I haven’t been exposed to many matters (our team is really slow) and I am the most junior in the team. So billable work is never constant. I feel like this has impacted my interest and stagnated my growth. I am thinking of moving into a different area of practice that I’m interested in. Has anyone ever done this? I’m actually depressed and I really hate being given work now. I have ADHD. Please advise

I would like some help trying to figure out what my next career move should be. I know I’m capable, I just don’t know what I should be looking for in my next opportunity, or what (strategically) I need to do to work my way up the ladder. Any resources or suggestions of who I could hire to help me figure things out?
