Isn't this something you would ask HR for?
How can you move to industry if you didn't get the H1B? I have the question because my husband had the same issue and he hasn't worked for two years...
Luke? I think you got to return the bonus
EY's HR is subpar. I did not get the h1b and the firm told me to leave. I might exit to industry.
Is the firm not sponsoring your visa?
No you don't if you are having to leave because of visa issues. That's what I was told last year by HR.
Why can't you transfer within EY globally?
@bcg EY isn't as flexible
You can move to a non profit organisation that would apply for your h1
@OP that's not 100% true, I know people who didn't get H-1B visas and were transferred to other offices. Find a partner to support you
Is this your first time applying for h1b or did EY refused to renew yours?
An alternative visa that EY doesn't recognize.
L1 visa?
What visa are you on OP? This doesn't make sense to me. I know someone else who didn't get their H-1B this year and they have been offered a choice of three offices to transfer to in different countries (advisory). They can't just fire you for no reason at all.
CPT, EY doesn't recognize it. I have a hefty student loan and just say going home isn't optimal.
So you're an MBA student and yet to graduate? this is an internship with EY?
