Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google
I am going into a new company with a technology stack i am just aware of and which i didnt have hands on for. Will the new company know it when they are doing BGV ? Will the company also enquire on which projwct did we work and which technology did we work.
Please dont say that its bad. I worked in support project before. someday or other we need a change. I felt like I need to take this oppurtunity to do so.

You're allowed to give a $50 gift I believe. Check the policy
^smart idea!
Pretty sure it is $50/day
Policy for what?
You can do that , but you won't be reimbursed for anything other than actual expenses. Mileage is the only thing you can get away with that doesn't require receipts. R
My firm isn't big 4 and they let us take our family members out for one big dinner.
EY 2 is right. There is a $50 reimbursement. I don't know if it's daily or what though. It's in the EY policy
Wtf!
Will you get mileage too? How far is your home office from the client
Client is about 40 miles from my home office. I am renting a car though (based out of NYC) so all of that is covered 🙏🏼
Damn that's crazy they cover all of that for a client only 40 miles away. We don't get a hotel for that 😩
53 miles each way in socal and no hotel 😦
You get a hotel for that? I would double check that since it doesn't seem likely that it would be covered under EY policy.
