I'm diamond and 10th on the upgrade list 🙄🙄
I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

I’d go with a big black trash bag. It simultaneously says I’m practical and idgaf.
Are you the same person who got stopped for random screening
maybe. what airport?
Tumi says “I’m a high paid consultant”
TravelPro says “I like good quality and I fly a lot”
Samsonite says “I’m practical and don’t flex with my luggage”
TravelPro is what all the flight attendants and pilots have so I bought a TravelPro suitcase. They have good deals from time to time if you sign up for their emails
My TravelPro is 6+ years old - still looks and works great

Agree. Love my Rimowa Limbo. Tons of compliments
Just bought an Away bag and it’s the best money I have spent in a long time. I went with the carry on and the attention to quality and detail is very obvious as soon as you start using it. Use promo code Tuesdays or Tuesdays20 for $20 off.
Riggs and Riley used to have a carry on at Costco for under $200. Not sure if they still sell through there, though.
Tumi. Buy when it’s on super sale at Macy’s or eBags or something, pay it with a credit card that gives you cash-back for buying from that merchant (higher amount than general cash-back), and go through a portal such as Ebates for further cash-back.
Money is a reason for being in consulting. Be proud of the [relative] wealth and own it.
Briggs and Riley. Actual lifetime warranty (looking at you Tumi) and have a professional look and plenty of space
Just go get a nice hard case at Ross for like $40-60 bucks. Mine lasted my like 5+ years of constant traveling and still works great and looks fine.
Away is such a waste of money.
I suggest Marshall’s or TX max.
My TX max special served me well all over the globe for ~8years. From taking two 7 hour red-eyes weekly, to using it as a seat while waiting for hours in a hot hallway for my next appointment in Qatar during Ramadan.
I don’t want a bag that says overpaid consultant
Get whatever’s the lightest and durable. I’ve got a samsonite and love it because it is very light and all my stuff fits in perfectly. Traveled heaps, still as good as day one.
Travel Pro
Just got an Away and love it
Rimowa
Muji. Stylish, practical, durable.
