Do not say a thing until your offer is in your hands. Companies are not supposed to discriminate because of family obligations, they do!
Wait until it is made and you start. Then get with your manager to coordinate
If you needed leave within the first few months I’d say something, but given you have more time I wouldn’t sweat it. You should find out about benefits before signing tho. If you don’t qualify for leave for a year but want to take it, I’d try to negotiate something in advance. I’ve always let employers know about big planned vacations when I take a job so I get at least verbal approval even if technically I may not have the time off accrued. By the time they are presenting an offer they don’t want to rescind it over something that minor.
Thanks. 6 weeks paid leave after 90 days. I’ll be employed for about 120 days before needing to use any time off (last kid I took 2 weeks)
