Needed some recommendations regarding a visa issue I'm facing.
I need to travel to Belgium in late June for client meetings and therefore need a Schengen. Ideally I'd apply for a business visa through the Belgian consulate. However the earliest appointment isn't for another 10 days and processing time is 3 weeks so I'm worried about receiving it in time. Are there any other routes I should explore?

Hi fishes!.. I am a Test engineer in a mindtree pvt. ltd. Mindtree gives me the project of cisco which is based on the Networking(switch testing). I didn't have much experience in networking or I don't like the Networking testing. I have one year of experience in automation testing with Selenium java WebDriver, TestNG, cucumber bdd framework. I am comfortable in these things not in networking. I talked to my HR and Manger for changing the project but the didn't change.

Our PTO is Flexible Leave = they don’t track days worked in return for days off

The draft military leave policy:
- 2 weeks of annual AT can be flex leave
- 2 days allocated a year for PT test

I previously worked at Deloitte and loved their military leave policy, so I am pushing for 2 weeks of AT allowed and 80 hours a year for travel to drill/medical appts/misc days you have to meet active counterparts.

How does everyone use their executive admin? I was assigned one when I became GC, but I’m definitely underutilizing her. I prefer to schedule my own meetings and it’s not like I have travel to book, or expenses to submit during quarantine. She’s not capable of higher level legal tasks like my law firm secretary was.

I’m new to the world of billable hours. I like to keep organized, so I do spend a small bit of time making/updating case lists and contact sheets to make sure I have record of last contact with client/OC, where I am in suit, relevant deadlines, etc. Do you bill for this kind of work?

Have a valid H1B visa stamp with expiration for Sep 22. Moved companies recently and have an updated 797 (with expiration of June 23). This may be an elementary question, but my credit score just randomly dropped 20 points. I keep my utilization very low. Almost all of my financial transactions are on my credit card, and I pay everything off by each statement. One month I didn’t get a chance to pay everything off because there were some transactions made on my statement date that I was not able to pay off because they were listed as pending. This resulted in my utilization going up to 6%. My credit score did not change (cont).
