Needing some general advice from my fellow federal contractors. This past year I joined a small consulting firm for a pay bump since I just started out 1 year ago and was placed at 95k on a policy team. Over the year there was 2 people fired from my team and one quit leaving just myself and the team "manager". This lead to way too much project deliverables not being met. End of year review was not favorable and it seems I was made the scapegoat taking a hit financially advice?

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it?
