Negotiation help needed: Have an offer for about 50% more than I currently make. During application process they made you give your target salary. The offer on the table is $10k over my initial number AND during interview process they talked about fast career ascention opportunities (6 months or less). 1. I feel like I should negotiate bc that's the thing to do. 2. I also feel like I have no leverage bc they're already over my initial target by $10k and talking promotion in 6 months. Help!

Just accept. Some companies add the extra amount for good will. Definitely don’t get greedy in this market, lots of layoffs etc incoming

Either ask for a little more or use a counter offer as leveraged if it was me, I’d ask for a minor sweetener but would accept it if they don’t provide

Get your foot in the door and discuss more at the next adjustment. A 10k extra in base at this point is negligible (it’ll be nice but in all honestly won’t make that much of a difference)

If you want to still negotiate, ask for maybe a signing bonus or stocks etc. Basically not on the base but anything that’ll take your TC higher. Congratulations either way, this is great!
