Who is betting against America?

I would agree that when it comes to geopolitical and trading power, it is not a good idea to bet against America. However, I do not think stock market in short run will buy into that philosophy. In long run it is not a good idea but in short time, many people (especially hedge fund guys) are making bets against America and winning big.

What’s the context of this post?

Warren Buffett America will do great again, that’s the context

Look at how much he’s invested and how much he has in cash. He’s sitting on $137B of cash (which is pretty unprecedented) and only invested ~$3B total in stocks during the downturn. I would say he’s sitting out and not “so invested in the market”

D2 was holding puts meaning he was betting the price would go down.

Recently switched jobs and need advice on 401K.

1) I have both Roth and traditional 401K. Can't change traditional 401K to Traditional IRA as I backdoor Roth and it complicates things.

24, a decent amount of savings in the bank. I’m sort of interested in buying a property in the next few years.
Is this a good or bad idea? I live in Ny area, so obviously the city would probably be too expensive to buy any property. Would probably have to buy further out in westchester, Long Island, maybe connecticut or NJ. If I buy, should I be living there? Or should I rent it out until I’m ready to live there (assuming it’s a bit further from the city). Very early stages of just thinking
