I am Fully vaccinated but if I declare that I am partially vaccinated will they get to know my bluff? Actually I am not much interested to go back to office as of now may be in february it will be fine for me

Checking in on a Sunday

Ready to be done with the first work week in 2021!

Keep in mind that the frost dial is entirely lumed. Bit of a gimmick that is polarizing, but some people love it.
They typically sell out quickly but this run has been a little slower, partly because of increased supply (per Microbrand Guy). I bought one to use as a beater and haven’t seen anything to indicate that it will face any issues with swimming — maybe not a pro diver though.
E1 Yeah buddy of mine got his frost last week (I got the burgundy).
Unfortunately no pics. Out of town until the weekend. Will post some then

I wear my Lorier Neptune 3 in the pool all the time. I love it
Frost dials are sick when they lume is charged but more average otherwise
Regular
I wouldn't buy this one, and I LOVE Zelos. The Frost dial just isn't my thing and is to me one of the more uninteresting dials compared to the Meteorite and Teal dials. The lume is cool, but you see it maybe 5-10% of the day?
If you want a Zelos now, I would join the "Zelos Timekeepers" Facebook group, where people are selling/trading tons of different models usually at launch price or only slightly above (I bought my first 3 Zelos this way).
Here's a Horizons 43mm I picked up from the Facebook group

Separately, and this is never why I buy watches, but any chances that Zelos becomes a collectors item down the road?
Collectors items to Zelos enthusiasts, sure. Microbrand Guy has two of the most desirable limited run Zelos, and he could easily make a profit if he sold them (Skeleton Skyraider and Horizons Aventurine). I doubt Zelos will go "mainstream" in that sense, but the right models are already collectors items to a certain group.
For the Zelos guys, what interests you in something like this over the tried and true SKX007. Thinking of getting a Zelos model but the seikos seem to hold value so well

The Zelos Mako is a simply a nicer watch than a SKX or a Seiko 5.
Movement: Zelos wins in a walk. It has a hi-beat Miyota 9 series vs a very outdated Seiko movement in the SKX that doesn’t even hack or handwind. The NH35 in slightly higher end Seikos like the Samurai is the one used in the cheaper Zelos swordfish.
Case: Zelos is a more robust 200m and a well finished case. Seiko finishing is very nice for the price, possibly nicer, but the lack of a screw down crown in the 5 is bad for a do everything watch.
Bracelet: Zelos wins in a walk here too. Good bracelet with tool less micro adjust for the Zelos while the nicest thing you can say for the Seiko is it’s fairly cheap to replace it with a strap code bracelet and those are nice.
Lume: Push. Zelos does great lume, and Seiko’s lumibrite is the inspiration behind a lot of micros lume obsession.
Styling: dealers choice here. I prefer the Zelos but you also can’t argue against Seiko’s success and lasting designs.
I’m not a Seiko hater. Far from it, love Seiko and wearing my GS right now. But these days, at lower price points, micros are simply better dive watches.
Not true for all types of watches, don’t know of a Microbrand watch that can match the cocktail time or Hamilton khaki field in their respective categories.

I never had something with that much lume, which is the only thing that makes me nervous. Want to be able to take this bad boy out to nice restaurants, dark bars and not stick out like a sore thumb (like a g-shock with my illuminated dial kept turned on). If the super lume starts fading a good amount and is less noticeable after 20-30min then that’s totally fine, but I don’t want it lingering really heavy for hours.
Rising Star
If you’re concerned with the amount of lume you could also go with one of the colored dials. the teal, green, and burgundy ones are still available. Vintage black leans too hard on the patina colored lume for my taste but is also available.
A bit of a different price point, but I absolutely love my black bay 58 and bang it around regularly. It was my go-to watch in Jamaica at the beach/pool a few months ago.

I’d also add that the Lorier Hyperion GMT is sharp. https://www.lorierwatches.com/products/hyperion-black-gilt

Very helpful, thank you! I think I’m the opposite of you, I love the simplicity of the frost dial but am nervous I’ll hate the excessive lume. Maybe I’ll pass on this one

Late to the party. Full Titanium case and bracelet, 11.5mm thickness, 300m WR, sapphire crystal, and a ceramic bezel for $450? This is insane value.
