Apparently some states are wanting teachers to post online all the curriculum materials they are using & their lessons plans. It is for transparency. I have no problem posting all of that online. But it does open up opportunities for our lessons & materials to be scrutinized out of context. I truly believe it’s another way to undermine teachers. It allows people who know nothing about teaching to tell us how to do our job. This all started with CRT phobia.

Ladies I have a tutor to learn a second language and my tutor is late to every lesson. Not by a few minutes but at least 20-30minutes. I'm hesitant to find a new teacher and find new books, teaching style and so on, and I've mentioned I need to start on time but don't think she understands that this is bad etiquette. I don't think this is a cultural difference. I simply don't understand. How do you address someone who is always late and does not feel the need to fix it?!

If you’ve interviewed via Zoom/WebEx/Teams etc. recently, did you use your personal computer or work computer? My personal laptop is old and the camera is nowhere near the quality of my work laptop. Is it crazy to use my work laptop? Side note - the interview is via Microsoft Teams, which we use in my office for internal communications. I am an expert path associate at McKinsey with 1.5 YOE + 6 YOE prior to McK. Expected 2022 TC = 200k base + 50-70k bonus. How should I position myself for (Sr) Director level jobs given my current tenure? I want to test the job market right now, but it seems like recruiters are reaching out for Sr Manager jobs with significantly less TC than what I’m making. Any tips on specific themes or types of experiences I should highlight for those positions would be greatly appreciated!
