Hi All,
After ED round of interview I got a mail from HR asking to submit few documents. In the mail HR has mentioned that I'm one of the shortlisted candidate and final selection is yet to be made. So how are my chances of getting an offer.

Truth hurts sometimes, but its needed. Ive seen so many people bring promoted without any effective guidance - just buzzwords. Grow. The effect is almost everyone is reacting and collectively making the mistakes that all new managers make. Since everyone is new, it doesnt seem to be corrected.

My ACN exit interview was skewed heavily to DEI questions. They didn’t want to know the reason why I was leaving and said as much. I told them I’m telling you for the record. So glad I left, I am much happier at Deloitte.

Wait till you learn this isn't just an Accenture problem.
Or maybe it’s because you’re an arrogant ass and no one liked you?
I have no doubt you were promoted on analytical skills but serious doubt everybody likes you. Not when you communicate the way you do. Interestingly the person who just left used to say the same thing and also said same about clients liking him. The reality he refused to accept was that his teams hated him and the clients tolerated him for his technical skills. Maybe you are him?

I don’t even work at Accenture and think this is mean.
Actually author is not wrong. SOWs/RACIs misaligned from conception, missed milestones, scope creep, “staff exploits” - embarrassing to be part of the projects. All boils down to our damn Talent Discussion being more of a popularity contest than an actual talent l/leadership review. Not the prestige that Accenture held 5-8 years ago. Feel duped.
I’m giving my notice next week mostly due to a terrible senior manager! And that person is not the only bad SM I’ve worked with. Gonna have to bite my tongue hard not to share this feedback when I quit
I found it particularly difficult to find a new role that would be a good fit for me. I’m an L7 and there just aren’t a ton of opportunities. I did look internally simultaneously, but it was much easier to find something externally that would pay more
Most of the SMs I know at Deloitte describe their work-life balance as horrible. I have very mixed feelings about promotion, which anywhere else would only be positive.

When can we start recognizing that the team/group you’re in doesn’t necessarily reflect the entire firm?
