I’m depressed. Nothing unique about my depression - I’m in big law, my career defines me, when I’m not working I can’t find the will to get off the couch, I’m sad or I’m numb…I know I’m the only one that can make a change to my life…I’m on antidepressants. Just extremely unmotivated and paralyzed. Self-help books are not for me, but I am curious - has anyone tried a guided depression/anxiety journal? Any recommendations if so? Or, if you have experienced the same, what steps did you take?

Has anyone ever done yoga or stretching when you are in a conference call (listen in only) while working from home?

I’m studying addiction psychology and I’m curious what treatments you all have personally found to be most effective (eg types of therapies, 12 step programs, rehabs, detoxes, spiritual practices etc)

I am 32 and fertility clinic did AFC scan. They said they only found 2 eggs on my left ovary but right ovary count is fine.
Anyone had an issue like that? Did you go for an IVF?

How do you manage stress? Sometimes I get done with work for the day but the stress does not and I can feel it. What do you do to unwind/relax?
On weekends I hike ir sail, and if I can’t then I don’t feel like I’ve had a weekend. But winter ia coming, and I’m in Chicago, so looking for indoor things to do.

4 years sober today. So much to reflect on, not least of which how important it is to “get comfortable getting uncomfortable”. In my experience, it’s truly the only way forward.

In a situation where my L4 and L5 are being toxic to me and is getting me into depression. How can I fight this and which forum to complain?

I’ve taken Adderall for several years & it has helped a lot for my ADHD. However, recently I have been increasingly overwhelmed with balancing work, school, & home life. I am really struggling to manage my symptoms even while taking the maximum ER dosage. I recently started taking Strattera as well, but haven’t noticed much improvement. My doctor has suggested switching to Vyvanse instead. What are your thoughts on Vyvanse vs Adderall? Has anyone has had more success with it?

My current salary is 57k (2 yrs out of Master degree), Los Angeles. I am so tired to have panic attacks and occasional nightmares because I am very stressed about the money that I have in my bank. I often have negative balance. Not sure what to do and idk how to ask for a raise. That's a relationship you have to nurture.

Which sales role would would YOU rather have? Be honest..

1. 200k working 30-35 hours a week
2. 275k working 40-45 hours a week
3. 400k working 55+ hours a week

Think of these as different roles and how many hours the job takes to be successful in it to make that amount in your W2. Working more will not make you more and working less gets your fired.

Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.
