Hi all, have had an opportunity come up with a wealth management firm (BB type) for a portfolio construction role which is pressing for a fast answer. I’ve got another opportunity in a primaries/alternatives investing role at another BB that is more interesting but they are saying they’ll need more time to run the process out. Question is what do you all think in terms of the offer on table vs taking a chance on the alternatives role?

PSA: I had a horrible experience applying for a job at Devoted Health. Applied online and then got asked to schedule a phone interview. After John Oliver's statement on access to mental health services, I'm curious to see others' takes. Is our mental healthcare system broken? Is it inaccessible? With so many digital counseling services and the breaking down of -some- stigmas around mental health, I feel like we have done better. People just need to make the decision to seek help.

On my contract, it states that I need to stay for 2 years with HCA. If I don't I will have to pay back 4K for the Nurse Residency Program.

I have been an RDH for 30 years. Looking to transition to something different with better pay. Since COVID the dental field has suffered a mass exodus in my area. Short staffed, overworked & under paid. Newbies are offered same pay rate + sign on bonus due to lack of applicants. Job is too physically demanding after 30 years. I have a BS in Dental Hygiene Science with a specialty in medically compromised patients. Any suggestions?
