The problem is USPS does not forward USCIS mails containing EADs or GCs. Because USCIS uses Return Service Requested to mail EADs or GCs. It’s too often that, when you move and notify USCIS new address, they still mail to your old address. So if you expect an EAD or GC coming, consider renting a PO Box.

If your new address is within the same MSA of the address listed in your LCA, then it only requires repost of LCA, no amendment is needed
