New grades are making low 30's I believe. I was a Nurse 3 and made about 44/hr. Covid is trending down currently I think recently they had converted 12 units over to bio mode to house covid patients. I think Hopkins is on par with most hospitals when it comes to the treatment with staff. Huge turn over as with most places during the great resignation. Benefits are pretty great as long as you stay within network, which isn't hard given that Hopkins is the biggest game in town. Parking is free for nights. Day shift you have to park near the outpatient building (attached to main building) and it's $15/day.
You mean Johns Hopkins, right? I haven't worked there personally, but I have colleagues who have and loved it.
Congrats on the offer, BTW!
Congrats! I've heard great things and that it's really well-run and organized. Best of luck!
They're very traditional!
I worked there for 7 years, left last year. What questions did you have?
- typical salary for BMore nurses
- how do they treat their nurses
- how are their benefits
- whats the parking situation
- what was their covid situation at the time of leaving
- why did you leave (if not too personal)
Thx! ☺️
