New graduate PA in pediatric primary care reaching yearly review wanting to engage in asking for a raise as I didn't negotiate initially. Base pay 45/hr but seeing 20+ patients a day in a fast paced clinic. Best strategies to engage in the conversation.

Try seeing what your colleagues' productivity is and go over it. Unfortunately, in most cases, hospitals consider your years of experience. Tell your director what you want your potential salary to be and ask what metrics you need to achieve to make it happen.

How long have you been a PA and how long have you had this position?

So you are making about $16 a patient? i’m going to bet they are remunerated closer to 100 per patient. I would be asking for at least 25% of what they are remunerated at.

Apply elsewhere and see what they offer and ask current employer to beat or match.

This has been happening..RN shortage = nurses now often making same and sometimes more than NP, in particular in pediatrics. NPs with bigger hospitals or who begin a position with a few years experience can and do get 50-55/hour but it’s difficult as a new grad or with only a year of experience, in particular in primary care peds. I completely agree with the above post about getting a sold offer elsewhere, then going to your current employer to ask for a salary adjustment to match and stay!

How long have you been working? So many hospitals and clinics are understaffed. There is indeed a shortage of medical health workers. I think it's about time that you get a raise. You deserve it.

Apply elsewhere, see what they are offering. If your current company won’t at least match that. Then leave and work for the new company.

You would get paid much more on a productivity model with how many patients you are seeing a day. I know WA pays much more than most states. But our pediatric PAs make at least 150k per year.

Yikes, I'm a health educator and I make $48/hr. You may need to look somewhere else for work.

Hello peeps,
I’m an SC and new to Deloitte Australia. I had few questions.
1. When/which month do we get increments/hikes in a year? Is it twice a year or just once?
2. What’s an average % increase in pay each year?
3. How many years does it usually take for a promotion from SC to M?

How do I approach asking for a bonus to fill a time gap? Ex: I can’t get a raise until the new year but I want to backfill the time I am waiting.

Not hike, asking about mid-year promotion. Did anyone hear any news on that today? When the change in title gonna be reflective on skype if you get the promotion.

Need Advice: My company recently announced that we are in the process of being acquired by a competitor and the deal should close in Q4 this year (this is a first for me.) The acquiring company only sells services and my current company sells both tech and services. I am on the tech sales team but I am concerned because we have 2x the number of employees. Any advice would be great (networking, begin job hunt, ask for raise/promotion, etc.)

I have got my second promotion this year, one was in May'22 and next in November'22, but haven't increased my salary proportionately - I received a 40% hike in May, but had asked for 120%, and this time of year with news of recession everywhere I won't be getting a good hike again (letter to be received at the end of November).

Any cents how I could grow package staying at the same job?
