I've been thinking for the past few months about getting a dog. I live in the city, so I've been thinking of getting a dog that is small and the type of breed is happy living in an apartment. Any breeders near New York City that you know? Or any breeds that you suggest?

I adopted a dog 2 months ago. She used to love going outside but recently she’s been very reluctant to go (hiding underneath the couch when I say walk or grab the leash, stopping and sitting on the walk). I’m in NYC so it’s getting colder but I bought her jackets which she seems to tolerates, bring high value treats and take her to the dog park on some walks but it doesn’t seem to be helping much. I try not to force her every time but as a result she has been having more accidents. Any advice?
