Hello and welcome. That is a great reminder and one that I need to always be reminded of. I am ALWAYS hard on myself. That is one of my biggest weaknesses. I have always been a perfectionist and struggle to not be "perfect" in my eyes or everyone else's eyes. It's a hard thing to do. It stems from my childhood of trying to get the attention of my mom and never being good enough for her.

You seriously have no idea how much I needed this reminder today. I feel like this entire week has been an uphill battle and I've been beating myself up over every little thing all week. This morning it was a struggle to even get out of bed and drag myself to the office. I keep reminding myself that the week is almost over. I need some down time to reset and regroup.

Good reminder! Also remember to take a moment for yourself, get a drink of water, take a couple deep breaths and remind yourself that you are doing your best. Everything will be okay and you are strong!

Love this reminder! I needed it. :)

My sister always complains about wanting to lose weight (I weigh ~30 pounds less than her) but when I offer her solutions she turns them down. I tend to eat vegetable-focused and high protein meals when I cook and avoid processed carbs (except when I go out of course). She says my diet is too restrictive when I tell her I can give her recipes and make a grocery list for her. Her problem is she wants to be able to eat rice and pasta for every meal and thinks she doesn’t need to reduce that. WWYD

Currently working as a Relationship Banker. Haven’t had no complaints with how Chase has handled the pandemic from the consumer banking side. Recently I was asked if I was interested in a Financial solutions advisor role at Bank of America. Things have slowly began to pick up at our branch and while I would like to continue my career at Chase. The bump in base salary increases as well as the earning potential. Any advice on how to make a decision? Things to consider besides pay?

Hello Fishes,

I have a joining in PwC India on sept30.
They offered very less - X lpa, which is just 12% more than my CCTC.
I received offer from a very small product company Lexmark for X+3.7 which is 40+% hike. YOE - 3
Switching tech so thinking I might get caught for fake tech exp. in the small company.
So want to re negotiate with PwC. Everybody saying PwC takes a lot of time for approval.
So give it now only! But still 40days left what if they start looking for my replacement?
Pls help 🙏

I've always had trouble with things like attention, focusing, and feeling constantly overwhelmed. I started to feel hopeless, feeling burnt out (even worse than my old job). I spend hours diverted when I know I should get work done. I decided to get an evaluation after learning a lot more about ADHD. I was diagnosed as Primarily Inattentive and they are starting me on meds immediately. Will things get better from here? Will, I finally become a productive human being? Should I tell my manager?
