Use cases ...qualifications ..examples of past projects with other clients for similar scope of work
ZS you guys no use quals??
It's for proposals. Short for qualification, but it means past performance, ie, short case examples from previous projects. So when we do a proposal for cost modeling, we include examples of the work we've done around that space.
Seems fair to infer that ZS has no quals
I would have assumed everyone in consulting used that terminology if I didn't know better. No context needed OP, qual means qualification. What past work have we done that shows to prospective clients we are qualified to deliver that work. Used in proposals. Collected at the end of projects..sometimes.
Tip: always provide context for most efficient/accurate response. Assuming qual is short for qualitative, but can't elaborate without context.
ZS - don't worry about it, but thank you
Not an accounting firm
Thanks for elaborating, D2!
But you're right OW, we don't need "quals" we pitch our expertise 😏
Don't hate when you left yourself open

Wtf is ZS
I have no idea what you mean by qual. Without a definition it can have a variety of meanings.
Thanks, IBM1. Assumed it was essentially forms of credibility and stood for qualifications, but was told otherwise by someone else :)
Ohhh, we use that in proposals but don't refer to them as quals, never heard that term used actually
D3 - I would think so too :)
I mean.. as a consultant it's generally a good habit to always provide context lol, others don't always have the same understanding as we personally may have
Someone's trying to overcompensate for something 🙄
