I’m at my second agency job, but thinking of jumping to product/client side. Want to get a read on if this is a standard salary for my case.

I am a current PE associate who was placed by CPI in 2021. I want to lateral to another PE firm but soooo many PE firms use CPI as their headhunter. CPI is contractually prohibited from sending me lateral opportunities because my firm is a CPI client (and CPI would lose their commission if I left before my 1 year was up). How do I apply for associate roles at CPI clients (which most PE firms are) given this?

One of my client is the greater Philadelphia area is looking to fill two roles: 1. Senior Manager Category Management, 8+ YoE
2. Procurement analyst 2-4 YoE.

After a big closing a few weeks ago, I still fight feeling unmotivated, client / internal emails feel like a little rocks being thrown at my bedroom window. I like the group I work with and work flow is more than manageable but gosh, I want to flip the table and not respond to any emails or calls for solid 24 hours. Do you ever feel this way and how did/do you get out of this rut? I’ve taken a short vacation which didn’t fix it. Help.

Firm has applied for my GC but i dont have an approved i140 yet. My GC application and my home office location is in state X. And i’m planning to move to a state Y which is under 50 miles from my old home location. So my question is, if I change the states but the new location is under 50 miles will that be a problem for my green card application?
