New income partner, looking to leave my too-small firm. Options are medium firms where my rate would be similar or increase a little v big firm where my rate would increase a lot. My clients are more easily portable to medium firm, and I worry I’ll lose clients who can’t pay the big firm rates, even with phased-in rate increases. But the opportunities at the big firm are huge. I’m very marketable for them, and clients love me. Risky, but a big payoff if it works out. What would you do?

Why are the Big 4 considered to be the best places to work and best consulting firms? Other than prestige and brand I don’t understand why they’re consistently rated and regarded so highly

Exit options/Capital Markets: Are in-house exit options for CM attorney meaningfully better at firms that do more issuer side work? Considering leaving my v10 underwriter side heavy firm to go to a place that does more issuer side, probably somewhere like Wilson Sonsini or Fenwick. Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
