Is it stupid of me to apply to LS consulting firms with little experience in business? My only intern experience has been at a local pharma business. Other than that, most of my experiences are in a clinical setting.
Tempted to rsvp yes to summer intern events about one month after my due date (our second), Feel like some social events would be fun, but is that just wishful thinking?
I’m looking at changing careers from screenwriting to copywriting. How likely am I to get an internship/job at a good company without going to portfolio school? Or is portfolio school 100% necessary in order to land at the upper echelon agencies?
Out of curiosity, when do people take internship experience off their resume (in terms of years after college graduation)?
what's the incoming offer for assurance associate at EY? college hire, almost finished with internship.
I just finished an art direction internship in LA I’m and looking for what’s next. I’m happy to stay in LA or move to NYC. Any leads would be appreciated!
So I’m an incoming non-tech summer intern at Facebook. I’m moving from Wall Street finance into the tech world which has always been a goal of mine. I’m a junior in college and I want to know what tips you professionals have for me for killing the internship and being productive without burning myself out. I want to be extremely intentional and hit my goals to receive an amazing return offer based on performance so maybe I can later leverage that offer with other tech companies! Thanks Facebook
My friend is looking for software engineer intern roles in USA/Canada. He is currently a second year computer science student in University of Victoria. Please let me know if someone can refer him:) Happy to answer any other questions
Hey would anyone from Oliver Wyman be willing to refer or chat an intern role? I'm from a non target Canadian school and am applying to the Canadian office, but I have always been interested in OW since I started my undergrad, I would very much appreciate your kindness!
My CDs and ACD have taken something my other intern partner and I created and passed it off as their own work. Normally I'd be cool with it, but the applause they're getting is for connecting with poc
My 4 intern counselees got offers! So proud of these young future 🐟 's. Hopefully we don't break them too early.
Five emails from recruiters this week. I want to reply to three of them, but I've only been in public for 11 months (including my internship). 😟

Hi, intern here to crash the party... anyone know of Account Management jobs that might be coming open soon? I graduate in December and am frankly terrified — but I am enthusiastic!
I am currently studying at CSUEB (NorCal), and had some internship experience. I try to look for that values work life balance and values staffs at all ages. Unlike young folks fresh out of college, I am almost 40 and this is my second degree (switched my career path). The firm I interned with have full of young folks and I felt like a bit left out. Any suggestions for a cpa firm that is family oriented, value staffs, and relatively has variety of staffs coming from different background? Thanks
Curious -what are some crazy things you were asked to do in order to land an internship? Creative applications?

Interviewed with EY C 3 weeks ago. No decision or contact made by recruiter. Emailed the recruiter last week for an update, no response. I hate to be that guy but is it too much to reach out again?
This question is not gender related, yet I don’t want to be ‘mansplained’ to, hence asking here ;) it’s related to taxable income at Deloitte...
Going to finish around 10 to 15k miles short of exec plat on AA. Mileage run over the next few weeks worth it?
Hi 🐟, I just got invited to interview at Microsoft for a Sr. Program Mgr role for cyber. Anyone knows what will be the different types of interviews (number and nature of interviews such as behavioral, case or technical) and what kind of comp (base, bonus, rsu) i can expect at this level.
Been flying to client for the last month and I have had a enough. Going to put in my two weeks. Hopefully don’t have to fly to the client site again. How bad of a look is this? Extremely toxic environment as both internal firm politics and client politics are in play here and I’m basically the last member of the engagement team that hasn’t been replaced left.
After all the things happening in US how are you folks on H1B looking at Canada Express Entry? Are most of you giving IELTS? And hows the score been overall ? I know the cutoff is over 440 as of now..
How do you handle when one Big 4 firm is trying to move really quickly through the interview process but I am also progressing through the process with an MBB as well that I really want to see through to the end. At the end of the day I don’t want to lose the Big 4 firm if MBB doesn’t come through.
My friend is hiring for UI developer. Salary upto 20 LPA. Depends on your negotiation skills. Check out the JD.
What are the salary bands for publicis firms director and senior director roles? Are they lower than big4 consulting? What was shared with me barely maps to manager or senior manager bands elsewhere.
Does anyone know if Duff & Phelps (now Kroll) is work from home or in the office (Atlanta location)? What is the breakdown between time in office and WFH?
Taking a week long PTO next month. How acceptable is completely unplugging? They all say "completely sign off". But folks generally don't. Help!
Okay 🐠 I need your input on two scenarios I have. 1 - Join EY cloud strategy as SM working under two partners and with 2 other SMs (will be partners in the next 2-3 years) that I know well; with a fast track to partner for myself. Or 2 - Join BCG DV at EM level and work towards partner level there. Completed final interview last week and got positive feedback. I don’t think there’s a wrong answer, but I have the EY offer in hand, comp difference is negligible.
Has anyone left Big 4 Audit tech for Accenture tech and want to share their experience? Trying to decide if I should make the move
Do you add your brand clients on LinkedIn after the project if you were hired by the agency? And the agency is still working with these clients?
How do you get over/prevent burnout? I can’t even take one day of PTO without feeling like I’m letting my whole team down. Even when I’m not technically assigned to something. I am having such a hard time being productive because I haven’t stopped in 4+ months. Help ☹️
