It’s time for me to move on from my back office/CBS job at EY. I’ve been able to get through to recruiter and hiring manager screening round with FAANG employers and some tech companies but never beyond that. How can I differentiate myself when I’m probably also up against our client facing colleagues in consulting. I have about 12 years experience (7 at EY doing the same thing).

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Nothing. Just stay away from United.
Nothing wrong with American or United. Southwest is better though.
Most airlines are the same. The people who think one is better than the next are sheep. Most loyalty programs are all comparable. Except SW do not fly sw
Loved Southwest when I lived on west coast. For personal travel around the West, not business.
If you use a smaller airport you will at some point experience delays and missed connections. American will not be very accommodating when that happens..
Too patriotic
Delta is the only half decent large US airline left
The big 3 are mostly the same except for Delta’s cross promotions with Amex being a big plus for those who play both. Otherwise, I’d just lean into whichever uses your local airport as a hub
I always flew American bc they gave a year of free gold status (turned into 3 w/ covid). Dont mind them but they're kinda crazy with how they delay / undelay flights tho.
One time I ran threw security stressed tf out and I get to the gate 3 mins before boarding to them delaying the flight in 10 min increments for an hour before they let us know the plane we were supposed to be boarding is still in NYC (I was in Charlotte). It was so irritating because they had to know over an hour in advance we would be delayed why wait so last minute??
Nothing is worse then United - they canceled all flights and had only one line in the airport to reschedule flights. Then an employee started mocking an Asian man by fake speaking Chinese as all the other employees (at least 8) quietly stood by
All are the same....they can find any reason to screw you if they have to. Just stick with one.
Delta>American>United in my opinion. But whatever airline has a hub in the airport is my preference to keep it easy.
Nothihg.
Fly the airline whose hub you’re in. It’s simple.
They’re actively making their fleet worse - removing IFEs from existing planes, adding crappie seats, etc.
