Hi everyone, I'm currently a BDR at SF for the french market. And I'm questioning my next steps. One of the two possible path ahead of me are:
- SmB AE
- Enterprise corporate sales ("Little AE" working in large account with a senior AE)
Which way seems to be more profitable for my next career plan ? (I'm a little bit tired of cold calling all day though.)
Should I stay at SF more few years or switch elsewhere ?
Thanks for your help ! Salesforce

I could not stop laughing at this cause I said that a few times.
Acclimate to just being professional while at work. And when you clock out. Let it all hang out. You must learn to set boundaries for yourself. This will make things less uncomfortable for your friend. After work still be buddy buddy. Let him take the initiative to give you perks if he wish for being buddy buddy. But also keep in mind to tell him you don’t have too. Hope this helps.
Keep it professional on the clock got it
i want this job. i trying my best😇
Are there any specific issues you want to address or just in general
Just in general just anxiety building up one up have to delegate certain tasks to said buddy
I just have a talk with him before clocking in and letting him know what the expectations are. If he is a friend, he’ll understand and appreciate your addressing before any issues do arise.
Set parameters and limits. But as long as your buddies were actual good employees you should be fine. Don’t pretend you were never in their shoes by “drinking the company kool aid”. If something corporate wants us stupid just tell them it’s stupid but they sign the checks. Don’t try to justify it because you look dumb as well. And like a liar.
