Getting back to the travel is like going for a new job. Can't believe I left my child behind again.
Any moms out there? Finding it really tough to work in consulting and be with my kid for only a few hours a day. Luckily I'm local, but not sure how long that will last.
Kid (clearly a consultant of lesser age than me) tried to cut me in premier boarding line. I blocked him. He's now in a middle seat next to me. Hope he's not planning on having to go to the bathroom.
It's not Sunday, so I'm pretty sure the shouts to the Heavenly Father from next door means my colleague has a life... 😞 #hotellife #thinwalls #itsonlyMonday #cantremembermylasttime
Just saw a small child boarding and for a brief moment thought they were going up into the overhead compartment with other similar-sized items.
Do you know what the maternity leave policy at your firm is? Mine is 3mos unpaid leave, which I think is quite stingy. 😣😣😣

To the shitty kid crying on the plane: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills. And I will find you, and I will kill you.
Dear kid from middle seat who pulled up my window blind while I was dozing off, head resting right where the bright scorching sun started to slowly burn a hole.. Fuck you. I will steal your cookies.
Does anyone else ponder having a child to get a "break" from work? #desperatetimescausefordesperatemeasures
Any ladies here that were pregnant while in consulting? Any tips on how to manage work stress, long hours, travel etc. while making sure you have a healthy pregnancy?
Playing hooky from the office sitting in a park. Kid is running around with a stick pretending it's an airplane. I miss the good ol days.
So, my best friend is giving me so much shade for "being in business (so many unethical people) and "how I get to travel every week while she barely affords grad school" - what can I do?
Has anyone had a chance to dig into Mark Pollard’s book, Strategy Is Your Words, on Kickstarter? Debating on buying it but it’s a bit pricey.

Shared screen on WebEx in client meeting, Skype pop up from colleague - "WHAT THE FUCKIN...". Speechless for four seconds and then continued to explain what I was talking about. Great day!

Couple people rolling off engagement. 34 year old director opened a tab on corporate amex and said "go nuts". It's 430 pm and I'm still hungover as fuck.
Lesson learned: Wear yoga pants with no panties to get free shots from bartender while picking up takeout. Whiskey? Yes, please!
What's working and what's not in tech? What would you love to see change in the industry?
How often do you take on new responsibilities at work that are not necessarily under your purview? I'm a senior manager that recently moved to industry and at the big 4 (where i was previously), it seemed more intuitive to me, but im industry I'm starting to get a sense that people are very "protective" of how much they take on and offer themselves up to do "extra" things. Or am I not getting it right? Do y'all offer up to do additional activities (assuming you generally like those activities)?
