TCS side Manager and Project lead are saying that as per policy it’s not possible.

Any suggestions to negotiate a buy out by serving 60 days instead of 90 possible ?

I’m planning to shoot a professional MMA fighter nov 10&11. The idea is to make an interview/documentary no longer than 2 minutes and shoot cinematic b-rolls of him training.

My partner is a resident and will be applying to fellowships next year. The best programs for his speciality are not in our state, but there are 2 quality and reputable ones in our state. If we leave our state, I will have to take another bar exam and potentially join him later until I find a job. We would also both be very far from family. Is it selfish of me for wanting to stay in our state?I want him to go to the best program, but uprooting my career and taking a whole new bar exam is a lot.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. I had 10 slots to choose from. I took the first slot available. Three were one day earlier this week and the rest are next week. Does it look good (or desperate, lol) on my part that I took the first time or should I have waited until next week so that I would be fresher on their minds when choosing a candidate? Hi , I recently went through all the loop , HR round and final HM catch up for a Senior level role at Meta only to be not offered a role (went to an internal candidate). Recruiter was very sympathetic and offered to introduce to any other open roles I am interested in. Should I take him up on it ? I see 2 open roles very similar to the ones I interviewed for. Recruiter had no negative feedback from the teams . Has this worked out for anyone ?

My H1B visa got stamped last year after 2.5 years of wait due to petition/RFE/Covid. There was no onsite slot in my project to travel due to resource cut. My India salary was less (13 lpa) and I was only getting promises for travel. Finally I decided to resign and got an offer (28 lpa). Now my company is saying there is a ready to move position in another project. But, things have changed, my wife is pregnant and I feel like my parents need me more as they are dependent on me. In the end, it won’t matter who believes or not. Safe to say regardless the trump base will hold on because everything is fake. Forget the now, we fail to see the future.

Fresh out of school all I knew was print and static digital design. Over the years I had self taught myself UI/UX, video editing, and 2D motion design. Having these skills in my toolkit has allowed me to move ahead and more than double my salary in 3 short years.

I’ve been stagnating for a while now, but I’ve been eyeing learning Cinema 4D and getting into AR design as my next skill set.
