I applied for some senior positions at AbbVie online 2 weeks ago. The status appears as “resume received” for some positions, status of one position appears as “under review” while another position shows “in progress”. Any idea how long their hiring team takes to get back following the application?

What's going on in DC tonight
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

I find the exact opposite actually. I have a really hard time sticking to habits, schedule, etc when I’m home. I think this is just a result of me traveling so much for so long.
I have a gym membership I use at the client location, I stay in a hotel with a kitchenette so I cook my meals, and I follow a better sleep/wake schedule on the road. I think part of it too is that I have to be up and out of the hotel when I’m in the client city, whereas at home I just stay at home to work.
I work out on the am and plan the workouts on travel days to be shorter or easier ones or even my rest days. If I don’t have time for a full workout, I squeeze in a 7 min one using one of those apps or just do burpees and push-ups; basically anything is better than nothing mentality. I also try to be active throughout the day - stairs, calls and meetings while walking, team workouts with quick dinners afterwards, etc.
Food is the harder part for me, so I try to splurge only when it’s a great restaurant and I balance those days out with healthy breakfast (usually eggs or smoothie) and lunch (greens and protein) as well as no dessert. Alcohol - I don’t drink unless I really want one during the week.

Two hours twice a week is not too different than local/industry commute into the city every day when you think about it. Your client town becomes your second home, so can do your nearly identical routine and sounds like you’re probably on same time zone so affect should be minimal on sleep schedule.
