Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Depends which firm. Unspoken rule is to bill 9/day to the client code, would confirm with the more junior people on your project what they're doing.
Yes, I’ll definitely reach out to my manager and colleagues. I just wanted to do a bit of research before asking. I’m coming into consulting as a Senior so trying to not look so much like I don’t know what I’m doing.
Did you start as a senior in consulting?
Whatever you do that is to the advancement of the project, it can be admin stuff, internal meetings, drafting documents, calls (even if you don't talk)
I did start as a Senior. I have a lot of product experience but all in industry.
Only time chargeable to the client counts towards utilization. For example, if you have to do any compliance or company training that will not be chargeable to the client, it usually goes to an internal General & Administrative code so it won’t count towards utilization targets.
Yes. Just make sure you don’t overcook the eggs because you won’t be able to charge the time if your have to redo it.
