What percent of your net worth is in crypto?
Neither. Avoid the Coinbase trap. Use Gemini
What's the trap?
Coinbase pro has much lower fees
Rising Star
Coinbase for super simple, easy to use functionality. Can sign up super quick and buy near immediately. High Fees (3%)
Coinbase Pro for more advanced trading functions (e.g., limit buys), need to KYC to buy, low fees (0.5% or less)
Once you sign up for Coinbase, you use that same login and password for Coinbase Pro. Best bet is to take a Coinbase referral, buy the $100 to get $10 in the referral bonus, then do rest of buying on Coinbase Pro.
Gemini - right down the middle with ease of use, middle tier fees (1.5%), bonus that you can store your crypto in an ‘Earn account’ to earn interest on your crypto.
Happy to share referral codes to either, and to answer any questions!

As for purchasing > Gemini has more coins and lower fees.
As for custodial risk, BlockFi uses Gemini, so push
As for interest accounts > BlockFi has been around longer and offers interest on stable coins. Gemini is available for NY residents, and offers a more wide variety of crypto. Gemini just launched their interest accounts like 2 weeks ago... so can’t really compare beyond that
