People at my company claim to be supportive, promote great work culture but there’s actually no support at all just bunch of bs. Young professional (23M) considering move to colonial village / Lyon village by purchasing a condo in the next year or so. I like it bc it has proximity to bars/restaurants and metro stations. The condos are also pretty cheap, staying under 300k, although I did notice HOA fees are comparable to some high-rise condos. What’s the general vibe of living in the area, relative to the whole DC area? I know there’s a stigma against those who live across the Potomac lol.

Moving to DC, Wife and I will be working in DuPont circle and our daughter will go to school nearby. Coming from Europe & a bit intimidated by the rental prices on Zillow.
