New to the city, need to get fit but terrified of stepping foot into the gym so I need a trainer.

I used to do F45 before but I want to learn how to work out without a circuit.

Any recommendations?

Also how much should I be expecting to pay for a trainer per session?

Thank you so much!

I don't have a personal trainer but the classes at Motiv fitness are great! They are really good at pushing you and they're not intimidating at all

Walk around town lake, the i35 and Mopac bridge loop daily, that'll do it. I'm about to start that back up too. Plus the beautiful people and outdoors are a big motivator just wear sun screen and take plenty water.

There are tons of trainers in austin. They are often expensive though. Obviously the rate of each one varies. I would expect to pay $150/session. Have you tried the Katy Hearn app? That’s a good starting spot for beginners.

Cano gladiator has workouts all over town and the monthly fee is super reasonable. A lot of trainers take clients outside of camp.

Hey All, looking for suggestions on other job titles/industries for a mechanical engineer to apply to. Currently in the automotive sector in Michigan and ready for a change.
Willing to go remote, otherwise the job needs to remain in Michigan. Mechanical is so broad, I'm having a hard time finding unrelated engineering jobs to automotive! I'd even be happy to move outside of the engineering role, using my technical expertise for something else! Any recommendations?

"Everybody can be a leader" some say... "Leaders are nurtured not born" say others... True.

But... this is also true: "not everybody wants to be a leader" (whether they can or can't be). It is a fairly common practice in organizations with traditional career management structures for people to "be promoted" into leadership roles as the "end steps of the corporate ladder" that was climbed doing technical work. And, unfortunately, this doesn't work all the time

Best/cheapest way to buy 12,000 miles on American? Looking at round trip tickets that would be $580 out of pocket but it would be $450 to buy the 12,000 miles I’d need to have enough to buy it with miles instead. Mid-level CW right here. What are great questions to ask when you're deciding between two offers?

Both are medium-sized agencies in NYC but under holding companies. I like the people more in company B (traditional creative agency) vs company A (CRM, data-driven creative agency), but company A has braver and more award-winning work. I've checked both Glassdoor/Fishbowl reviews but they're outdated or unavailable because company A is relatively new. Would love your tips. THANKS FAM!

I'm new to Fishbowl so please excuse me if I am in the wrong thread to post my job opportunity. I have a 6 month contract to hire, potential, with a major FinTech company looking for a Seasoned Software Engineer (Tech stack: Java, API, AWS, Spring Boot, React or Angular). Client is hiring in the following cities SF (CA), Scottsdale (AZ) and Chicago (IL). Pretty much remote but would need to go onsite when requested.

I just got a new remote position starting July 5. I just got an email stating that they are having a company sponsored meet on July 5 and if interested they would fly me out to meet everyone. Honestly, I want to get acclimated into the company. I want to start working and meeting coworkers and dive into the culture. I just don't want to meet them my first day lol im an introvert... what can i say that wont sound bad? Reason why i wont be joining them this time but will the next time?

Applied to transfer to another property, found out that my manager told their manager that I had attendance issues, which she has never talked to me about and even said recently that I don’t have any attendance issues. I have been late by about 10 minutes a couple times when the bus is late, and have had to take a couple of emergency sick days, but I’m usually in the office before her. I technically shouldn’t know that she said it at all so I have no idea how to approach her about it.

Hello all, so I currently am 24M working at tmobile. I just found out my store is closing at the end of this month. They're offering to transfer me but simply put I know for a fact I won't see as much traffic coming into the store so less potential for sales. I'm looking to find a good job to transition too. I do have my life and health insurance license but I didn't like what I did before. Any suggestions on good sales jobs or what to look into? I'd appreciate the help, thanks!
