Not a competition, just curious: Most hours you've worked in a week and your position at the time?

Currently a Talent Acquisition Specialist for over 1.5 years (in the field) prior to that a Learning Specialist - been with the same company for 10+ years. I currently make 63k base + car allowance and bonus (averages 83 yr). I’ve been offered a remote TA position for 70k + up to 10% bonus. Not sure what other remote TA positions are earning but is this a lowball offer? Should I keep looking?

What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?

When do you know when you’re ready to go in house? Last week, I was in a state of panic 24/7 because of the workload and deadlines (half of which turned out to be false deadlines). The anxiety drove me to look for exit ops for the first time and I found a few that looks interesting and that I intended to apply to. But this week doesn’t feel as bad so now I’m questioning if it’s worth exchanging the financial and job security of big law for the (relatively) black box that is in-house?

Hi am applying for a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft what will be compensation expectation for a role such as this?

I sometimes feel like my personality/anxiety limit my success. I’m timid/shy, social interactions of any kind make me anxious/nervous. I get overwhelmed so easily. Little things like emailing a client or talking to some of my colleagues causes immense stress. I hate the thought of disappointing others and it wrecks havoc on my emotions. I have major imposter syndrome and compare myself constantly. I’m not sure I’m cut out for PA long term since all of my weaknesses are prevalent in my role

Has anyone exited to a Sales Engineering role? Is this a typical and good exit opportunity?

Data Scientist Consultant at McKinsey with 3 YOE.
I have a solid idea about the base salary I can expect for a similar role at a hedge fund in NYCA (190-220k) but would like to have some data points about signing bonus and performance bonus.

Hi Fishes... I heard from the Consultancy that my Job application has been put on hold after completing my final round of interview... I appeared for SAP ABAP Consultant position... Any idea how long my application will be put on hold and for what reasons?

Finally exiting consulting to go join a FinTech startup in their strat bus ops group (all ex-consultants). I’m excited about the role but just curious to see what typical exits are from bus Ops roles? Kinda using this as a chance to get out of consulting + figure out what I want to do next. Any thoughts would be helpful!!

For those lucky enough to be hired during the pandemic, how would you describe the salary negotiation? Did you counter the initial offer or take the hiring managers first number ?

Hi fishes,

I am interviewing with Flipkart for the position Assistant Manager.
I have 5yrs of experience and was working at Amazon. It's been 6 months since I am on career break.
My last CTC was 5.61. I need your help in understanding what would be an ideal range for the Assistant manager role. And also request you to suggest reasons for the hike expected.

Career opinion - been doing FDD at big 4 for 2 years and am considering going into Corp Dev. Probably getting 30% or more raise to jump (but raises going forward will likely be a lot smaller than big 4 raises. Realistically I could be close to the offer comp in about 2 years. What would you consider? Also wondering if adding Corp dev to my resume differentiates me from just doing FDD

Opinions of HIG Capital? Can anyone speak to the interview process, culture, comp etc

Are there legal recruiters out there who can help with finding a position in a different practice area? I'm a junior associate currently doing corporate/M&A transactional work, but my long-term goal has been to get into more litigation. Any help/advice is appreciated!
